The Affiliated Application is using one or more of the services offered by VPS Technology (Pvt.) Ltd. While VPS Technology (Pvt.) Ltd. is not the publisher of the Affiliated Application, it does offer the Affiliated Application mobile analytics and intelligence services by collecting certain information relating to your use of the Affiliated Application and/or other applications installed on your device, and other functions of your mobile device in order to allow the Affiliated Application and other VPS Technology (Pvt.) Ltd. partners to deliver advertisements, products, and services that are relevant and meaningful to their users (collectively: the “Services”).

 Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines the privacy practices associated with the VPS Technology (Pvt.) Ltd. Service and covers our treatment of personal information that we collect when you install a mobile application that uses our Service.  Information you provide

Account Information. You register a phone number when you create an account. Phone numbers are used to provide our Services to you and other users. You may optionally add other information to your account, such as a profile name and profile picture. This information is end-to-end encrypted.

Messages. We cannot decrypt or otherwise access the content of your messages or calls. App queues end-to-end encrypted messages on its servers for delivery to devices that are temporarily offline (e.g. a phone whose battery has died). Your message history is stored on your own devices.

Additional technical information is stored on Signal servers, including randomly generated authentication tokens, keys, push tokens, and other material that is necessary to establish calls and transmit messages. Signal limits this additional technical information to the minimum required to operate the Services.

Contacts. App can optionally discover which contacts in your address book are Signal users, using a service designed to protect the privacy of your contacts. Information from the contacts on your device may be cryptographically hashed and transmitted to the server in order to determine which of your contacts are registered.

User Support. If you contact User Support, any personal data you may share with us is kept only for the purposes of researching the issue and contacting you about your case.

Managing your information. You can manage your personal information in App’s application Settings. For example, you can update your profile information or choose to enable additional privacy features like a Registration Lock PIN.

 Information we may share

Third Parties

We work with third parties to provide some of our Services. For example, our Third-Party Providers send a verification code to your phone number when you register for our Services. These providers are bound by their Privacy Policies to safeguard that information. If you use other Third-Party Services like YouTube, Spotify, Giphy, etc. in connection with our Services, their Terms and Privacy Policies govern your use of those services.
Other instances where App may need to share your data:
To meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
To enforce applicable Terms, including investigation of potential violations.
To detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.
To protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of Signal, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law.

 Information We Collect From You

When you install an Affiliated Application on your device that uses our Service, we may automatically collect certain information from your Android device, device make and model, mobile web browser type and version, IP address, MAC address, the device’s operating system’s make and version, locale information, MCC (Mobile Country Code) information, the mobile application name, a list of mobile applications installed on your device and other technical data about your device. When you install an Affiliated Application, you may also grant the mobile application permission to collect certain types of information via a permission screen consent process and to use some of your network connection and device’s resources when your resources are idle and use WiFi (only occasionally cellular data may be used, but very limited). We do not control the permission screen consent process – it is typically run by your mobile operating system; HOWEVER, once such permission is granted by you on an opt-in basis, we may collect some, but not all, of the information that a mobile application collects in accordance with the permissions you grant. for example, in accordance with your permission to the affiliated application, we may collect precise geolocation, browser history, country, zip code and device ids (including imei, device serial number and mac address) and/or any other personal or identifiable information (the “personal information”). We or our data partners may also obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Service. For example, we may collect one of the unique identifiers associated with your mobile device as listed above and demographic or interest preference information from other companies and combine that with information we collect through the Service to allow our customers to deliver advertisements that may be of interest to you on your mobile device or to identify you on other devices or browsers. We anonym zed all Personal Information on your device before collecting it or sharing it with our data partners. Affiliated Application incorporates third party one Audience services for gathering information from your device with one Audience’s privacy policy located here – http://www.oneaudience.com/privacy/. In addition to other information described in this policy, we may collect and share precise location information, through methods such as mobile “SDKs”. This location information may be used by itself, aggregated, or combined with mobile identifiers (such as IDFAs and Android IDs), and shared with third parties, for purposes related to advertising, attribution (e.g., measuring ad performance) analytics and research. You can remove your consent to having your location data collected by changing the settings on your device.(Certain services may lose functionality as a result.) You can opt-out from any interest-based advertising through your device settings. When you have opted out using this setting on a device, advertisers will not use in-app information collected from that device to infer your interests or serve ads to that device that are targeted based on your inferred interests. An Affiliated Application relies in part on applications and services provided by Google and YouTube, and use the YouTube API Services. Use of the YouTube API Service is subject to the You Tube Terms of Service, available at: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms and the Google Privacy Policy available at: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

We may also collect Data related to data being collected under Telegram privacy policy – https://telegram.org/privacy. Telegram is a communication service. You provide your mobile number and basic account data (which may include profile name, profile picture and about information) to create a Telegram account. Telegram is a cloud service. Telegram stores messages, photos, videos and documents from your cloud chats on Telegram servers so that you can access your data from any of your devices anytime without having to rely on third-party backups. All data is stored heavily encrypted and the encryption keys in each case are stored in several other data centers in different jurisdictions. This way local engineers or physical intruders cannot get access to user data. Telegram uses phone numbers as unique identifiers so that it is easy for you to switch from SMS and other messaging apps and retain your social graph. Telegram asks your permission before syncing your contacts. Telegram stores your up-to-date contacts in order to notify you as soon as one of your contacts signs up for Telegram and to properly display names in notifications. Telegram only needs the number and name (first and last) for this to work and store no other data about your contacts. Telegram automatic algorithms can also use anonym zed sets of phone numbers to calculate the approximate number of potential contacts an unregistered phone number may have on Telegram. When you open the ‘Invite friends’ interface, Telegram displays the resulting statistics next to your contacts to give you an idea of who could benefit most from joining Telegram. You can always stop syncing contacts or delete them from Telegram servers in Settings > Privacy & Security > Data Settings. If you are using Android, Telegram will ask you for permission to access your phone call logs (READ_CALL_LOG). If you grant this permission, Telegram will be able verify your account by transmitting a phone call instead of asking you to enter a code. Telegram uses this permission only to confirm receipt of the confirmation call by verifying the number in the call log.

We may also collect Data related to data being collected under Signal privacy policy – https://signal.org/legal/. You register a phone number when you create a Signal account. Phone numbers are used to provide our Services to you and other Signal users. You may optionally add other information to your account, such as a profile name and profile picture. This information is end-to-end encrypted. Signal cannot decrypt or otherwise access the content of your messages or calls. Signal queues end-to-end encrypted messages on its servers for delivery to devices that are temporarily offline (e.g. a phone whose battery has died). Your message history is stored on your own devices. Additional technical information is stored on Signal servers, including randomly generated authentication tokens, keys, push tokens, and other material that is necessary to establish calls and transmit messages. Signal limits this additional technical information to the minimum required to operate the Services. Signal can optionally discover which contacts in your address book are Signal users, using a service designed to protect the privacy of your contacts. Information from the contacts on your device may be cryptographically hashed and transmitted to the server in order to determine which of your contacts are registered.
